I have played tennis competitively since the age of 10 and reached national standard as a junior and county level as a senior, but was also keen to coach. I worked through the LTA coaching qualifications and achieved my Level 5 in 2003. Having trained as a school teacher, I was Director of Sport at Ballard School until 2014. I had also worked for the LTA for ten years in their coaching and schools' department. I set up Lymington Tennis Club as a coaching school when I moved to the south coast. Recently I have been teaching part time and joined Milford last year.
I have always been interested in the tactical side of tennis which can make just as much difference as good technique and feel that I have a lot to offer all club players in the development of their game either individually or as a partnership.
